Designed to Pair with Our Hot Tubs
The new sauna will sit alongside our existing outdoor hot tubs, showers and lounge area, creating a full outdoor wellness circuit right here at Sanctuary. Think heat, then cool, then rest, all without leaving our outdoor space.
Why We’re Adding a Sauna
Heat therapy is one of the simplest, most effective ways to relax the body and mind. Paired with our hot tubs, a sauna session helps open up circulation, ease muscle tension, and round out the kind of slow, unhurried visit our outdoor area was built for.
What We Can Tell You So Far
We’re still finalising the details, so we’re not sharing a firm opening date, size, or style just yet, but we wanted our Wanaka community to be among the first to know it’s on the way. What we can say is that it’s being designed to work hand in hand with our hot tubs, outdoor showers and lounge area, not as a separate add-on.
A Growing Outdoor Wellness Space
Wanaka’s alpine climate makes it the perfect backdrop for outdoor recovery, and we’ve been building toward this for a while. From two hot tubs to outdoor hot showers and a proper lounge setup, our goal has always been to give locals and visitors a genuine escape outdoors. The sauna is simply the next piece of that.
